Work Completed Date: March 24, 2012. We decided to replace our wood patio cover with vinyl after considering the pros and cons. We knew that we didn't want wood anymore after replacing some of the wood and repainting resulted in peeling and dry rot returning after only about two years. We also ruled out aluminum and alumawood; it is much less expensive, but it looks cheaper and is noisy in the rain among other drawbacks. We liked the clean look of vinyl and have been impressed with how well it holds up. We visited the showroom on Oxnard Street and met with Mike who answered all of our questions and made suggestions for our patio cover. We were pleasantly surprised that there was absolutely no sales pressure, and we left without even being asked to give our names or phone number. We got a couple of other estimates, and then called Mike and asked him to come out to the house. We felt that his price was very fair. We noticed that other reviews gave a 'B' rating for price, but feel that might possibly be because vinyl is more expensive than some other materials. We feel that Vinyl Fence Depot deserves an 'A' in every category. Mike was very responsive to our phone calls, and the workers were prompt and neat. Over the years we have had a great variety of work done on our home, and this was definitely one of the best experiences. We highly recommend the company and thank them for the beautiful job they did.
